The success of Top Repute (M) Sdn Bhd in organizing the Malaysia International Gift & Premium (MIGP) for 3 years in succession is derived mostly from the continuous support and confidence of loyal exhibitors. MIGP 2004’s participation was increased by 40% as compared to 2003. Foreign participation made up of 28% of the exhibitors.
The Gift & Premium product is a promoted industry in Malaysia and is expected to grow steadily with much support and tax incentives by the Malaysian Government in the year 2003, Malaysia’s export s of gift products increased by 8.7% to RM18.2million in the year 2002. The import registered a 7% increase from 9.2million in the year 2003 as compared with RM8.6million in the year 2002/ the market outlook for 2005 is positive as the global economy is gaining momentum. Stronger sourcing demand is anticipated as a result of the growing Asia economy.
The 4th Malaysia International Gift & Premium 2005 exhibition is schedule to be held from 15-18 June 2005 at Malaysia premier exhibition and convention centre, Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. This event is expected to be bigger and more comprehensive in term of exhibit area and products range. Beside a wider range of brand new products and services, MIGP2005 will include 3 brand new profiles: Stationery, Houseware and Printing Packaging Equipment & Services. Positioned as the largest event of its kind in Malaysia, this show will continue to serve as a platform for local and international manufactures, exporters for the gift and premium industry in Malaysia.
